General Ancient Zoidian Stuff:
- The pods were designed as a way for lucky Zoidians to escape whatever horrors were happening in their own time. They were supposed to be woken up when the world was at least bearable again and when all the disasters had passed. Uh, needless to say, everyone was either killed or too busy just surviving to even think about the pods.
- There were a lot more pods than those shown in the series. Many were destroyed, some just haven’t woken up yet.
Pre-Guardian Force:
- I always got the feeling that, while Fiona and Reece lost their memories while they were in the pods, Hiltz retained most of his memory upon waking up at the time of Chaotic Century.
- Unlike Fiona and Reese he was alone when he woke up, Fiona had Van and Zeke, Reese had Nicolae and Specula. Ambient had already been taken away to Raven’s parents’ lab, no one else was there.
- He was around the same age as Fiona and Reese (perhaps a couple of years older) when he woke up.
- The people he met afterwards weren’t exactly friendly.
SO! Let’s put this all into perspective, you wake up all alone, your organoid (your protector and constant companion) is gone, the world you knew and loved has been completely obliterated and while you saw some of what destroyed it, you weren’t there at the end to witness how it all ended, to top things off there are these strange people all over the place, they’re not your people, who you presume are all dead, you later discover that two of these people have stolen your only companion from all that time ago. Plotting mass-genocide doesn’t seem quite so farfetched now. Though obviously he’s not going to tell you any of this.
Post-Guardian Force:
(Aaand here we get into the stuff I’m a little bit scared of roleplaying because I don’t know how people would react!)
- I am of the crazy crazy opinion that somehow he managed to survive that battle at the end of Guardian Force, albeit in a rather nasty, mangled state.
- After that fight he has absolutely no memory of anything, he’s rescued by some little old village lady who nurses him back to health BLISSFULLY unaware that this is the guy who tried to destroy everything she knows and loves.
- He helps out around the place with this little old lady, though he’s aware that there’s something amiss.
- Eventually he leaves, travels around a while, but is quickly spotted, chased and captured by either the Imperial or Republican army (it doesn’t really matter, they’re both living in the world you tried to burn down) and treated pretty severely before being thrown in a high security facility to rot.
Happy happy days~ Feel free to prod me on various points or if you’d be interested in rping any of my crazy later headcanons… Or if you’d just like to bother Hiltz, really.

Worldwide domination and destruction is one thing, a young man with a large stick threatening to tie up his former commanding officer and ‘poke’ him with said stick is something else. I’m sorry if I’m being pedantic, but really, even I have standards.

That’s a very good question.
To be honest it’s quite hard to tell, with Prozen under house arrest and well.. Me being me, I’ve had very little contact with him aside from the odd message now and then.

Neither am I, but only one of us is under house arrest and last time I checked, you were still allowed outside. Suspicions have been raised in the palace thanks to some old links of mine in the royal court. I have no interest in court politics at this moment - but would rather any evidence - especially evidence involving you - were as far away from prying eyes and indiscreet fingers as possible. *flustered* I am only trying to help you in the long run, Hiltz. I know I’m stuck here. Now imagine if you were stuck with me. Or worse.
It’s a handy thing, everyone thinking you’re dead, no one feels the need to keep an eye on you. So if it’s found or not doesn’t really concern me, but I’ll send someone over to fetch it for your sake. I’ve got things to prepare and I’ve never been one for doing my own legwork anyway… Alright?
